Part: EA-MITEVO-RP Earls Hyper Firm FOR EVO IV,V,VI &VII Earl’s HYPERFIRM® brake lines boast many features that no other brake line kits can duplicate. HYPERFIRM brake lines are made from extruded Teflon™ hose covered with a braided stainless steel sheath; the same design that has been used in racing for years. The braided stainless steel sheath over the Teflon hose resists line “swell” and gives unmatched abrasion protection. By resisting line swell, HYPERFIRM brake lines provide much better brake pedal feel/firmness, reduce ABS pedal “thump”, and reduce the time for the effective pressure to reach the brakes and start to slow the vehicle. Testing has shown that braking distances can be shortened by up to 10 percent by changing to HYPERFIRM brake lines. The braided stainless steel/Teflon HYPERFIRM brake line design is supplemented by Earl’s patented “Whip-Stop Dampner”, (where required) which prevents fraying; a feature that allows this line to meet all D.O.T., T.U.V. and J.W.A. standards for street use – the only Teflon hose to meet these extremely rigid international requirements.
