Oil surge can dramatically damage a race engine due to the car undergoing high amounts of 'G' in cornering, braking and accelerating. The K20 doesn't have a great deal of oil to start with, so the P1 Racing baffle ensures all that is necessary is concentrated it in one area maximising lubricant to the engines vital engineparts.
